Responsible Finance Forum IX: Africa’s Evolving Digital Economies
October 2 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
We are pleased to announce that the 9th Annual Responsible Finance Forum (RFF IX): Africa’s Evolving Digital Economies will be held on October 2, 2018 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
With over 1.7 billion of the world’s unbanked, Africa is the only region where the share of adults with a mobile money account exceeds 10 percent – and over 30 percent have a mobile account today.
The Forum will highlight Africa’s pioneering experience in digital financial services, touching upon evolving risks and opportunities for harnessing new solutions that strengthen customer trust. Deep dive sessions will explore the Digital Ecosystem and Interoperability, Digital Literacy and Financial Empowerment, and Data Analytics and Consumer Data Privacy. The event will also feature the recently launched Guidelines for Investing in Responsible Digital Financial Services, which aim to accelerate responsible investments in fintech solutions across the region.
The RFF IX will bring global and regional leaders from across private sector players and investors; regulators and policy makers, consumer and industry researchers to share evolving best practices, innovative solutions, new partnerships and potential investment opportunities for scaling responsible digital financial services in Africa.
