Payments Fraud: Innovation in the banking ecosystem – Webinar
March 28 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
The payments environment is changing rapidly, as are the threats from fraudsters deploying ever sophisticated techniques to infiltrate infrastructures and institutions. As market innovations decrease settlement times and blur distinctions between domestic and international payment, vulnerabilities to fraud become more complex and challenging.
This webinar takes a broad look at the growing threat of high value payments fraud. It will explain the steps key global infrastructures are taking to protect and secure international financial networks; it will look at technologies that can be utilised to detect and prevent fraud, and share best practise guidelines, enabling banks and financial institutions to mitigate risk and secure their payments processes.
We will address the following questions and issues:
- What are the fraud threats and vulnerabilities the payments community face?
- How is the industry addressing these challenges?
- Does the expanding adoption of instant payments create new risks?
- The growing role of real-time forensics and Artificial Intelligence?
- Is biometrics an answer?
- Best digital hygiene practices
- New steps your organisation should consider and adopt to guard against payments fraud.
